In Germany, MorGen Mobility, a developer and operator of green hydrogen refueling stations, has started the construction of its second facility located at the Cleantech Innovation Park in Hallstad, Germany. This project is supported by the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy through the funding program for the development of hydrogen refueling infrastructure. The Cleantech Innovation Park was selected for its strategic location near the A70 and A73 motorways, enabling efficient logistics for nearby companies transitioning to green energy solutions and providing accessibility for businesses focused on clean technology, the company said. Werner Leitner, Head of Supply Chain and Operations at MorGen Mobility, said: “This station – the second in our network – will enable access to green hydrogen for the mobility of tomorrow.” The new hydrogen refueling station will supply renewable hydrogen at 350 and 700 bar pressure levels, serving light and heavy-duty vehicles, buses and passenger cars. The hydrogen will primarily be sourced from regional production facilities. The new location is expected to open in the spring of 2025.
